Meet Lakis the dog!

Lakis (or Lucky) is a male hound mix that has been abandoned near Kamiros, Rhodes end of December 2022. He was around 2 years old by the time. Lakis had been roaming the streets between Kalavarda Village and the Ancient Kamiros site for 2 weeks before he was collected by kind people. Since then, Lakis spent some time roaming free in the area and getting food and care at various homes before he was transferred to Ialysos Pet, a dog pension managed by dog trainer Eleni near Filerimos. Lakis is still at Eleni's premises waiting for his forever home in Greece or abroad.  

Lakis is around 73 cm long and 52 cm tall, around 27 kilos. He is an exceptionally friendly dog that gets along well with people, dogs and cats alike. He walks on a leash and travels in a car with no problems. He remains calm and confident with other dogs. Lakis is a fast and healthy young dog that loves walks (or jogging with you), especially in the nature. He's still silly and playful like a puppy but always gentle and won't create havoc in a home. He needs some space outside to thrive, a home with a small (or big) yard would be ideal. He is loyal and cuddly, the perfect dog for a family or as a companion to active people. He will guard the property by barking but he won't bite. 

Lakis has been neutered, micro-chipped (no registered owner yet), has good health and got all the vaccines. The passport to travel abroad can be issued within days.
